I've been.....slacking. I haven't written anything in a while. That makes me sad. I'm hoping to fix that sooner than later.

Is it normal that I found myself automatically smiling at James in an encouraging way when he fell and looked at the camera? I am so in the habit of smiling and looking like "Well! Wasn't that fun?!" when kids fall down, in the hopes that they'll take their cue and laugh instead of cry. But I'm afraid I just look like a cruel adult who enjoys children hurting themselves.
